Dear Coach,

Mt. Carmel High School is proud to host the 31th ASICS/Mt. Camel Invitational Track and Field meet on March 28, 2009. You will find this meet will provide for your athletes the excellent and intense competition you need as you prepare them for your season, league, and section finals. You will be participating on our beautiful 9 lane all weather facility, one of Southern California's finest track & field venues.

This years meet will again include the following events:

100 meters
100 Hurdles (Women)
Pole Vault
200 meters
110 High Hurdles (Men)
Shotput
400 meters
300 Hurdles
Discus
800 meters
High Jump
Distance Medley Relay
1600 meters
Long Jump
4 x 800 Relay
3200 meters
Triple Jump

4 x 100 meter relay
4 x 400 meter relay

The meet will offer two or three sections of each race or field event. All sections will be seeded on the basis of this this season's marks. All races will be at metric distances and will feature electronic timing.

This year's meet will begin with field and runningevents starting at 11:00. The meet is over by 6 PM. Awards will be given to five places in all events. Additionally, invitational event winners will receive special Invitational awards. This event is open to all high schools in California, Arizona, and Nevada.

If you are interested in participating in our meet, please fill out the enclosed sheet and either fax it or mail it back to us as soon as possible. Those schools indicating an interest will receive meet information and entry blanks by March 1, 2009. If you do not receive a entry card you may e-mail us and have one mailed to you.
